Light & Human Factors
The optical phenomena of dappled, reflected, refracted, filtered and diffused natural and artificial light envelopes us every single day. All of these distinct luminous influences coalesce to affect the basic human condition.
It's about you
Understanding the relationship between light and the consumer is at our heart. With thorough scientific research and collaborative spirit, we strive to underpin this notion of client fulfillment for ultimate project success.
Our Core Values
LE's origins reside in aesthetic as well as technical realms producing a lighting design practice of a sensitive aesthetic nature, yet with a fundamentally practical orientation. Good design is in our genes.
Design Approach

At LE, every project starts with the premise that no two projects or clients are identical, and that every single project deserves a unique and fresh approach. Further to this, LE also likes to consider such projects as an exclusive opportunity to make a positive difference to our world and the profession of Lighting Design.

We take pride in our methodology that is based on a solid foundation of scientific research and critical thinking. This encompasses a sound understanding of topics such as human factors, psychology, physiology and sustainability. LE also believes in updating our knowledge about the latest lighting products and controls technologies, giving us an added edge over our competition.

LE has also invested in a communication's infrastructure, that allows our team-members to seamlessly collaborate with oneanother from remote locations, irrespective of time-zone barriers. While LE instills confidence in unique design solutions which may vary from project to project, it has established a unified design & documentation process that forms the back-bone of our practice.
